About the Event
Mayala-Bol (Menah & Noni) are so excited to bring you the first circle of our FREE monthly First nations women circles.
Creating a culturally and gentle space to gather, yarn, to rest and to take a moment out for yourself to reflect.
There is power in our rest and in our ability to slow down for the sake of collective healing.
As Blak women we often are the carriers of our families, the holders of responsibility, the doers, the balancers.
We invite you to a space where you can take your foot of the exhaust peddle for a moment and just BE.
Rest allows us to deprogram ourselves from seeing exhaustion as the norm, and to embracing rest as normal.
Where: The wellness Hub Larrakeyah
In this 2 hour workshop we will gather in circle around our symbolic Yuya/Bol (fire)
we will Drink tea, yarn, hear each other, breathe in deep relaxation and meditation, connect with new people, and have a chance to sit with oneself to reflect.
Menah & Noni will guide this space with yarning prompts in a gentle way.
althought the space encourages yarning, you are welcome to just sit and be if you don't feel called to share.
light snacks will be provided as well as a selection of tea.
Please note there are limited spaces.
Dear sister, hope to see you in circle.
This workshop is for all Blak womxn.
